Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

Are your animals “grass fed” or “grass finished”?

Our cattle are born and raised on grass. They are only supplemented during extreme weather conditions or when transitioning between pastures. We use a forage-based cube for supplementation, not a grain-based one, making them 99.9% grass-fed. Regarding our chickens and pigs, they do receive a ration. Without it, we would end up with wild hogs or crows. Our chicks are introduced to pasture at two weeks old, and our pigs are born and raised on pasture as well. Both are supplemented with GMO-free feed.

Do you use antibiotics, hormones, or vaccines?

We do not supplement, feed, inject, or vaccinate our chickens, pigs, or steers. Additionally, we do not and will not use MRNA vaccines. The only hormones in our animals are the natural ones they produce themselves.

Do you have a store?

We do not have a store as we are a full-time working ranch and do not have the time or personnel to man one. However, we offer deliveries all over the north side of DFW and local deliveries on Fridays. Please visit our "Deliveries" page for more information about a delivery near you.

Do you sell ¼, ½, or whole steers?

Yes! You can find detailed descriptions under our “Products” page. A deposit is required to secure your order. Once the deposit is paid, you will be added to our list. Please note that there is typically a wait time of a couple of months for these packages. To ensure your order is processed to your liking, a cut sheet indicating your preferences is necessary. Feel free to review our product list and select the cuts you prefer.

What is the price of beef?

We often get asked about the cost of our products. With over 40 different cuts of beef, each one has its own price. The same goes for our chicken and pork. To find the specific prices for each cut, please refer to our “Order Form” where you can see all the details for the cuts you are interested in.
